Company History
Koers-Turgeon Consulting was started in 1977 by Dr. Wally Koers and Virginia Koers in Salina, KS. The corporate office is in Salina, KS. We have additional offices in Grand Lake, CO, Garden City, KS and Amarillo, TX.
Our company covers the United States with consulting services by our nutritionists, Dr. Wally Koers, Dr. Abe Turgeon and Dr. Shane Davis. At any one time, over 1 million head of cattle are in our client's feedyards. Our primary services deal with recommendations on cattle diets and on production management. We formulate cattle diets for use for our clients, as well as answer animal nutritional and health questions. We have created a computer projection program that uses our 25+ year animal history database to project feedlot performance. We also monitor the quality of the commodities and supplements used at the feedyards through use of reports generated by our quality control program.
One of the monthly services that Koers-Turgeon Consulting provides to its clientele is comparison reports detailing performance, both live and carcass, ingredient costs and health information of each client to the industry. We provide comparison reports dealing with animal health products and computer technology surveys. Our company strives to provide new ways to analyze information relevant to our clients.
Our office staff is always ready to help with any of your report questions. Our office staff consists of Virginia Koers (pictured with Dr. Koers), Dennis Jones, Max J. Vandament and Mark Weiss.
Our sister company, Bos-Technica Research has corporate offices also located in Salina, KS. Our research facility is located in Syracuse, KS. Our research facility provides a way for companies to test pharmaceutical products and feed additives for FDA approval, as well as to provide answers to questions from our own in-house trials.
